THE CHALLENGE
The project involved several design and UX challenges. First, creating a complex search and filtering system that allows users to find properties by location, type, price, and amenities without overwhelming the interface. Second, designing detailed property pages that present comprehensive information—images, amenities, virtual tours, agent details, and maps—while maintaining a clean and easy-to-read layout. Third, ensuring the booking and payment flow is intuitive, secure, and frictionless for users. Fourth, implementing a real-time communication system so users can message or video-call agents efficiently. Finally, maintaining consistency across devices, making sure layouts and interactions remain smooth on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
THE SOLUTION
To tackle these challenges, we implemented a series of thoughtful solutions. For search and filtering, we used multi-criteria dropdowns, sliders, and sorting options to simplify property discovery. Property listings and details were structured with interactive cards, galleries, tabs, and virtual tour support, making the information digestible and visually engaging. Booking and payment flows were designed with step-by-step guidance, real-time summaries, and secure input fields to minimize user errors. For communication, we integrated messaging and video call interfaces with clear notifications and user-friendly layouts. Lastly, we ensured responsive design with consistent spacing, typography, and UI patterns, and developed a cohesive visual identity with a defined color palette, typography, and icons to strengthen the brand.
